The board seems to be loading faster this morning. I'm sure you've all noticed that the last couple of weeks or so, the board has taken a long time to load in your browser. My hosting provider claims that someone on the server is hogging all the bandwidth and that they were monitoring it to figure out who it was. Let's cross our fingers and hope they got it straightened out.

That's the measure of how much information can pass from the server to your pc.

For example, if the server has the capacity to pass 500 megabytes per second and one of the users on it is using 499 of those, then anybody else (that's you) request a page, then they have to stand in line and wait their turn for their page to be sent.
