Roy Put the carbs on and the bike & it fired rigth up, Its running strong.
Run's better then my other GS 850 great job with the carbs.

After some tweaking on the carbs everything should be alright. If need be i'll help any way i can. Roy

I think and i hope we have got Justins carbs sorted out.

We learned a few things while working on the carbs.

No.1 Have a good battery.
No. 2 have a tank full of gas.
No.3 There could be more issues to look at after the bike is running.

When we first instaled the carbs the bike run fine but would not idle down. Turned and adjusted everything.

Then the bike wouldn't start. Lost fire on points and coils. It was getting dark and there was a lot of sparking on the fuse panel. Tightened the panel and got good fire. bike still would not do right.

I went over today and started again. We got gas,good battery and after a little adjustment the bike started. Running on cylinders 1+2. Pulled the plugs and cleaned them then swapped holes they came out of. Now the bike is running on four cylinders.

Justin went and got new hotter plugs and the bike seems to be doing fine.

We will see how it does after he gets to ride it and maybe drop down a size on the pilot jet.

This is his wife's bike so we will have a new rider with us this year. Roy

Roy came over 3 different times to help with tis little prob. He's good at what he dose.
I think I will do all the test rideing, cause this bike has been chopped and cuztomed with parts made for other bikes and from the local hardwear part store
nick nacks ben. Hopeing for a true rat rod/ bobber look. Thanks Roy for burnin time on my bike.
