I rode to work this morning. Thermometer @ home said 42F, I think it got a lot colder than that on the way from home to work (Wickliffe KY to Olmsted IL). It was verrrrrrrrrrrrry cold

They think I'm crazy @ work, they are probably right. I've been here an hour or so & w/a cup of hot chocolate & a space heater on my feet I think I've finally warmed up. Hoping it warms up a little before the ride home.

I wanted to ride yesterday but I knew as soon as I got to about 50 mph, I would regret that decision.

Hopefully you won't in a rainshower on the way home either.

I'm not sure the word "brave" applied to my ride this morning.. In fact I'm sure it did not.

Frankly I'm counting on it not raining for the trip home.

It's actually kinda nice right now. I'm tempted to drag my bike out for a spin.

Thought seriously about riding today, but I don't like exposing my bike to al the salt. Maybe if it rains Sunday like predicted, I may ride Monday or Tuesday.

The ride home was dry & warmer compared to the morning run. I need to wear heavier gloves when it's in the low 40's. My hands got so cold they actually lost feeling.
